Login loop or email, username or password not recognized

If you are experiencing a "loop" back to the login page or the password reset page OR if you get a message saying your username, email address or password are "not recognized" or "in use"

There may be old Freecycle cookies stuck in your browser

To resolve this you will need to remove the Freecycle cookies from your browser. Please note that you do need cookies to be enabled to view the site but medium-high or less is fine.

If you continue to experience this issue, try the following
  • Clear browsing history
  • Use a different browser
  • Use a different device (phone or tablet instead of computer or vice-versa)
  • If you are able to gain access using an alternative browser or device, then the issue is with the cookies and/or browsing history of the device and browser that you were using. Try clearing them again.
