Can members charge to deliver an item?

The short answer is NO! Charging money for any reason is not allowed on Freecycle.org. All items must be given away for free, with no strings attached, and that includes delivery.

Items must be made available for local pick up in the area in which they were advertised. Be wary of anyone who claims the item is somewhere else. This is most likely a scam aimed at getting you to send them money, and they have no intention of delivering the item.

If someone asks you for payment of any kind, for any reason, please report this to your town moderators.
