Trouble logging in after changing password

If you're having trouble logging in after you change your password, please try the following:

  • Click this link, which may clear old login information: freecycle.org/logout
  • Clear Freecycle cookies from the browser you are using. Here's a link to instructions for doing that in several popular browsers: Remove Freecycle cookies from popular browsers
  • Make sure there are no spaces before or after the username or password. Sometimes copying and pasting can insert spaces before or after.
  • Click the eye icon in the password field and make sure the password was entered correctly
  • If you use your browser to auto fill the login details, try typing them in or copy/pasting them
  • Try logging in with your email address and the latest password, instead of your username
  • Use a different browser to log in with the latest password
  • Try a different device

1. after you have entered your username and password (click the eye icon in the password field to display the password)
2. after you hit Log in
