Trouble logging in after changing password
If you're having trouble logging in after you change your password, please try the following:
- Click this link, which may clear old login information: freecycle.org/logout
- Clear Freecycle cookies from the browser you are using. Here's a link to instructions for doing that in several popular browsers: Remove Freecycle cookies from popular browsers
- Make sure there are no spaces before or after the username or password. Sometimes copying and pasting can insert spaces before or after.
- Click the eye icon in the password field and make sure the password was entered correctly
- If you use your browser to auto fill the login details, try typing them in or copy/pasting them
- Try logging in with your email address and the latest password, instead of your username
- Use a different browser to log in with the latest password
- Try a different device
