Operating Systems, Browsers and Applications not working well

As reports come in from members, we are noting that there are some older operating systems, browsers, applications, and devices that do not currently work well with our website.

Browsers

• Internet Explorer. Explorer is no longer suported by Microsoft and will not work with Freecycle.org. Please try downloading and using another browser.

Operating Systems

• IOS version 10.x and lower on iPhone and iPad. Members report not being able to view the list of posts on Dashboard, My Posts or Town pages, or not being able to get to the website at all and only seening a grayed-out front page. We do not have a solution for this issue at this time and we recommend using a different device if possible.
• Windows XP or Vista. These operating systems no longer supported by Microsoft. Members report not being able to view the list of posts on Dashboard, My Posts or Town pages, or not being able to get to the website at all and only seeing a grayed-out front page. Email Applications

• Outlook email client for desktop. The issue with emails loading slowly in the Outlook desktop app has been resolved. However, email formatting still needs to be fixed.
