Chat with friends

Now you can send messages to your friends on Freecycle

To send a message, start at My Friends

Click on Start Chat below the your Friend's name

Write your message in the box and click on the Send button. You'll see a confirmation that your chat message was sent at the top right of the screen

To read and reply to Friends' messages, go to My Messages

Click the arrow to the right of your Friend's username to read and reply to messages.

Please note:  Some members are seeing messages in My Messages/Chat with Friends where they can't open, read, or reply to the messages. In many cases they have not accepted Friend invitations from these other members and don't have them on their My Friends page. We are investigating why this is happening and working on a solution.
