How to reply to posts
All correspondence about posts now goes through our online messaging system. All messages are private and cannot be read by anyone except the two members sending the messages.
Here's how to reply to another member's post.
- Go to your Dashboard or My Towns to find posts that interest you, or click the Reply Online link in a post email.
- Click on the title of the post to view more details and photos, then click the Reply button.
- Type your message in the box and click the Send button.
The member who posted the item will receive a message in their My Messages and the two of you can send messages back and forth until you come to an agreement on the item in the post. To see your message and respond to any replies you've received, click the Envelope icon
On a computer: this will take you to Replies to others' posts to see the list of posts you have replied to. Click on the post you wish to communicate about. Can't see the reply box and button? Try zooming your browser view out. This should make the message box fit in the browser window so you can see the whole thing.
On a phone: tap the My Messages link, then tap Replies to others' posts to see the list of posts you have replied to. Click on the post you wish to communicate about.
