Security Verification

We have installed a new security system to prevent spammers from creating Freecycle accounts. When you log in or create an account, you will see a "Security Verification"

The security check will run before the system checks your username and password. Please wait for the security check to complete and "Success" to display clicking Log In.

If you use a password manager or browser to auto-fill your login information, try clicking on the username or password field, at the end of the entered information and hitting the tab key. This should let the system know that something was entered and activate the Log in button.

Here is a list of the browsers that our security application supports. We are not able to add to or change this list.

• Google Chrome (desktop and mobile): Current version and two previous major versions. Chromium-based browsers and Chromium-based browsers that track the current Chrome stable version.
• Mozilla Firefox: Current version and two previous major versions. Extended Support Release (ESR) versions are supported.
• Safari: Current version and two previous major versions. iOS Safari on current iOS version and two previous major versions.
• Microsoft Edge: Current version and two previous major versions.
• Samsung Internet Browser. Current version and two previous major versions.
