Freecycle has not had a recent data breach

Some members are receiving messages from various sources telling them that their data was involved in a data breach. These messages may contain outdated information. We did experience a data breach in 2023, and at the time asked all members to change their passwords. We also put in place measures to help prevent future breaches.
