Remove saved passwords from popular browsers
Firefox (computer)
- Click the menu button at the top right of the browser window (looks like 3 horizontal dots) to open the menu panel.
- Click Passwords. The Firefox about:logins page will open in a new tab. From here, you can view, copy, edit or remove your saved logins. Note: You can enter a site, username, or password in the Search logins text box, to filter the logins listed on the left.
- After you select an entry from the list of logins, you can perform these actions:
- Click Unhide Password to see the password.
- Click Edit to change the username or password.
- Click Remove to remove the login from Firefox.
Chrome (computer)
- Open a Google Chrome Window.
- Tap or click on the three dot icon in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser.
- Select Settings > Autofill > Passwords. ...
- To delete a password, tap or click the three dot icon next to it and select Remove.
Safari (Mac)
- Open Safari.
- From the Safari menu, choose Settings (or Preferences), then click Passwords.
- Sign in with Touch ID, or enter your user account password.
- Select a website, then click Edit.
- To delete a password, click Delete Password.
Android phone or tablet (Chrome)
- On your Android device, open Chrome.
- At the top right, tap More (looks like 3 vertical dots).
- Tap Settings and then Password Manager.
- Tap the password that you want to remove, then tap Delete.
iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Open the Settings app.
- Select Safari.
- Under General, select Passwords & Autofill.
- Select Saved Passwords.
- To view the password, tap the webpage and enter in your phone passcode. To delete select the Edit button and choose Delete for any websites that should be forgotten.
