Can't find a post in Modtools with post search

To search for a post by ID number, go to Post Search, click on Post ID, and enter the number. If you still can't find a live post with post search, it's probably because of a bug in mod tools.

The workaround is to find the member's username (visible on the post detail page on the member site). Go to Member Search, and search for the username. The member profile page includes the member's live and closed posts. 

If you want to edit the post, click on the post title and follow these instructions.
